Washington: Judge Neal Q. Rielly has announced his plan to retire from the Spokane County Superior Court on August 29, 2010. He has served on this court since 1995. Formerly, Rielly worked as a Superior Court Commissioner (1989-1995) and a partner in the law firm of Taft, Rielly & Mackin (1975-1989). Regarding his reasons for leaving, the 66-year-old judge stated, "I don’t feel burned out, but I feel a younger person should take the helm." Governor Gregoire will appoint a new judge to fill the vacancy.[1][2]
