A St. John Cemetery District No. 3 Levy proposition was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Whitman County, which is in Washington.
If approved, this proposition authorizes the St. John Cemetery District No. 3 to receive a $0.12 per $1,000 of assessed valuation to be provide $16,000 for capital improvements. This tax would be collected in 2013.[1]

Language on the ballot:
“ | The St. John Cemetery District #3 has adopted Resolution 2012-6 to place a levy on the ballot for expansion of the cemetery and capital improvements required for said expansion with said funds to be collected in fiscal year 2013 only.
This proposition would allow Cemetery District #3 to receive a $0.12 per thousand tax levy for the capital improvements required by the expansion for a total amount of $16,000. |
