Stuart A. Scherer was a 2014 candidate for the Jefferson County Family Court of the 30th Judicial Circuit in Jefferson County, Kentucky.[1]

Scherer ran for election to the 30th Judicial Circuit.
Primary: He was successful in the primary on May 20, 2014, receiving 17.4 percent of the vote. He competed against Robert M. Guarnieri and Tara Hagerty.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 28.4 percent of the vote. He competed against Tara Hagerty. [1][2] 

Education

Scherer received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1992 and his J.D. degree from the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law in 1998.[3]

Career

At the time of his candidacy, Scherer practiced law with the Grant M. Helman Law Office in Louisville, Kentucky.[3]
