Suchada Bazzelle

Suchada Bazzelle is a Utah Fourth Judicial District judge for Utah County for the American Fork Juvenile Court.[1] Bazzelle was appointed to this position in January 2007 by Gov. Jon Huntsman (R).[2]
Bazzelle won a retention election on November 8, 2016.[3]
Biography
Bazzelle earned her degree in journalism and mass communication from the University of Colorado in 1990. She went on to receive her J.D. from Brigham Young University in 1994. Bazzelle worked in private practice from 1994 to 1998, specializing in family law and general litigation. She then served as director of legal education for Westminster College from 1997 to 2000. Bazelle worked as a volunteer guardian ad litem from 1997 to 2000, when she joined the Office of the Guardian ad Litem. She served in that position until 2007.[2]

Utah held retention elections for local judicial offices on November 8, 2016. The filing deadline for sitting judges seeking retention was April 15, 2016. Suchada Bazzelle was retained in the Utah 4th District Juvenile Court (Bazzelle Seat) election with 80.52 percent of the vote. [3]
