Susanne Ross

Susanne Ross is a judge on the San Miguel County Court in Colorado. She was appointed by Governor John Hickenlooper (D) on September 3, 2015, to replace Scott T. Erickson, who passed away in July 2015. Her term will expire in 2018.[1]
Education
Ross received a bachelor's degree from Wayne State University and a J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy.[2]
Career
Ross was a founding partner of the law firm Sinclair & Ross, LLC, which focused on criminal defense and immigration law. She also served as a municipal judge in the towns of Telluride, Nucla, Naturita and Norwood. She has also worked as an assistant prosecuting attorney in Macomb County, Michigan, and a deputy district attorney in San Miguel County, Colorado. Before attending law school, she worked as a teacher and social worker in Michigan.[1]
