This year, three Hawaiian judges have terms expiring
January 13, 2011
Hawaii: Only three judges have terms that expire this year in the state of Hawaii. Circuit Court judges Virginia L. Crandall and Steven S. Alm have petitioned the Judicial Selection Commission for retention, since their terms are set to end in March and May, respectively. Also hoping for retention is Jennifer L. Ching, of the O'ahu First Circuit Family Court. Her term is set to expire on June 23, 2011. If reappointed, Crandall and Alm will serve another 10-year term, while Ching will win another six years.[1]
