Thomas H. Baxley is a judge for the Pataula Judicial Circuit in Georgia. He was appointed to the court by Governor Nathan Deal on December 2, 2014, to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Judge Ronnie Joe Lane.[1] Baxley must run for election to the court in the next general election in 2016.[2]

Education

Baxley received both his undergraduate and J.D. degrees from the University of Georgia in 1971 and 1975, respectively.[3]

Career

From 1995 until his appointment to the Pataula Judicial Circuit in 2014, Baxley served as a state court judge for the Early County State Court. He also previously maintained a solo law practice in Blakely, Georgia.[1][3]
