Three to run for Snyder County Magisterial seat

Pennsylvania: Since Judge Willis E. Savidge announced his retirement from the Snyder County Magisterial District, three individuals have announced their candidacy for the position. The candidates who are formally running as of this writing are Robert Steinberg, Lori Hackenberg, and Bernadette Schwalm. Stienberg and Hackenberg are both attorneys who say that the move to district judge would be a natural one given their legal experience. Schwalm is a probation officer and believes that she is a good candidate because of her law enforcement involvement.
