A Tonasket City Sales and Use Tax proposition was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Okanogan County, which is in Washington.
If approved, this proposition authorizes the City of Oroville to impose a 0.1% sales and use tax, at lease 1/3 of which is to be used to fund criminal justice and fire protection services.[1]

Language on the ballot:
| “ | Shall the City of Tonasket be allowed to impose an increase in sales and use tax in the amount of 0.1% on the selling price in the case of sales tax, or the value of the article used in the case of use tax, and such revenue to be used by the City at least one-third (1/3) for criminal justice purposes or fire protection purposes, or both, to be effective as of April 1, 2013.
