September 16, 2011

Salt Lake City, Utah: The Utah Judicial Performance Evaluation Commission will use the surveys of attorneys, as well as the comments submitted through a new website launched by state officials that lets people evaluate their Utah judges after they appear in the courtroom.[1]

Utah judges must go through the election process every six years, and the surveys and website comments will help in forming a public recommendation for these judges when they do stand for retention election.[1]

The Utah Judicial Performance Evaluation Commission will be accepting comments until this November 1, 2011 on the 25 judges who will be facing the election process in the year 2012.[1]
