W. Thomas Sprott, Jr. is a former family court judge for the Sixth Judicial Circuit in South Carolina. He joined the court in 2008. He was re-elected in 2014 and resigned on December 31, 2017.[1][2]

Education

Sprott received his undergraduate degree from Clemson University in 1967 and his J.D. from the Tulane University School of Law in 1973.[3]

Career

Before he became a judge, Sprott practiced law in Winnsboro, South Carolina. He also previously served as a municipal judge for the Town of Winnsboro for 17 years, a county attorney for six years, a special referee, and a temporary administrative law judge for one year.[3]
