Walkley pursues re-election to District 21

Norman, Oklahoma: Judge Lori M. Walkley, of the Oklahoma 21st District Court, has announced her plan to run for re-election. She has served on this court since an appointment by Gov. Brad Henry in 2003 and has been twice elected chief judge--in 2006 and 2009. Previously, she worked as a trial attorney in Norman and Oklahoma City. Regarding her abilities as judge, she said, "I am acutely aware that each case that comes before me represents an individual or a family. At all times, I strive to apply the law to that individual case evenly and fairly."[1] As of, June 7, 2010, there are no challengers. The Oklahoma General Election will be held on November 2, 2010.[2]
