Education
Collins received his BSBA in accounting from Rockhurst College in 1979 and his law degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1982.[2]
Career
He was first elected as the Division 3 Associate Circuit Judge in 1994, and re-elected in 1998, 2002, 2006, and 2010. Before serving as an Associate Circuit Judge he was in private practice from 1982-1994.[2]
2012 elections
Collins was re-elected to the 17th Circuit Court, Division 1. He was unopposed in the Republican primary and defeated Chase Higinbotham in the general election on November 6, 2012.Cite error: Invalid <ref>
