2012 conduct violations
Judge Holden enters plea
In July 2012, Judge Holden admitted to three charges of judicial misconduct. He was charged with violating Section 51-51i(a)(4) of the Connecticut General Statutes; Canon 3(a)(5) of the Code of Judicial Conduct; and Rule 2.5 of the Code of Judicial Conduct. This was due to a failure "to answer in a timely manner” that resulted in a two year delay on writing a decision.[3]
In September 2012, Holden was sentenced to twenty days suspension without pay by the Connecticut Judicial Review Council.[4]
