Wisconsin Supreme Court rejects petition to allow guns in the courtroom
July 7, 2012
Wisconsin: A petition filed by District Attorney Christian Gossett to remove a ban prohibiting guns in the courtroom has been rejected by the Wisconsin Supreme Court. The court said it would not allow Gossett to carry a concealed weapon in the courthouse nor take up the petition as an original matter.[1]
Gossett was not surprised by the court's decision and plans to appeal to the Wisconsin Court of Appeals.[1]
