A Lawrence County Cabaret Tax Renewal measure was on the April 3, 2012 ballot in Lawrence County.

This measure sought to renew the current cabaret tax which is set at a rate of 10 percent of receipt of the business. No money has been collected from this tax because no cabarets have set up in the county. The tax was implemented to discourage such businesses from setting up in the county.[2]
