New York: Judge David J. Roman was confirmed by the New York Senate to fill a vacancy on the Oswego County Court. He will replace Judge James McCarthy, who was promoted to the New York Supreme Court in November of 2009. Judge Roman will serve as an interim judge until the end of the year, when a new judge will be elected.[1]
