David Tubbs to fill justice court vacancy

Moab, Utah: David Tubbs, a former FBI agent, was appointed to the Utah Seventh District Justice Courts by the Grand County Council. He will replace Judge Aubrey E. Holderness, who is retiring on February 7, 2011. Tubbs's appointment is subject to his successful completion of a new judge orientation and certification by the Utah Judicial Council. He previously worked at the FBI for 24 years as a special agent and head of counter-terrorism. He has also worked with the 2002 Olympic Winter Games and as a vice president and senior vice president of a major U.S. corporation.[1]
