An Okanogan City Sales and Use Tax proposition was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Okanogan County, which is in Washington.
If approved, this proposition authorizes Okanogan City to impose a sales and use tax increase of 0.1%. At least 1/3 of this increased revenue will be used to fund criminal justice and fire protection services.[1]

| “ | Shall the City of Okanogan be allowed to impose an increase in sales and use tax in the amount of 0.1% as provided by the Public Safety Sales Tax law on the selling price in the case of sales tax, or the value of the article used in the case of use tax, and such revenue to be used by the City at least one-third (1/3) for criminal justice purposes or fire protection purposes, or both, as required by law to be effective as of April 1, 2013.
