The question on the ballot:
The Board of Commissioners of Snohomish County Fire Protection District No. 26 adopted Resolution No. 02-2012 concerning a proposition to finance maintenance and operation costs. This proposition would authorize the District to levy excess taxes in the amount of $150,000 per year for four consecutive years beginning in 2012 to be collected in the year following at an approximate levy rate of $0.49 per thousand of assessed valuation (the actual rate will be based on assessed values) to maintain the District’s staffing, maintenance and operations, as provided in Resolution No. 02-2012.
