A Washington County Public Safety Levy Renewal measure was on the November 2, 2010 ballot in Washington County.

This measure was approved

  • YES 119,705 (67.15%)Approveda
  • NO 58,566 (32.85%)[1]

This measure sought to renew the current public safety levy of $.42 per $1,000 of assessed property for a further five years. The current levy will expire June of 2011, so since this was approved this levy will continue from that date.[2] The county also hosted service fairs to educate residents about the ballot issues on the November ballot and hoped that with education about the issue more residents would pass it.[3]
