Biography
Triplett earned her B.A. in Political Science from the University of North Dakota. She went on to receive her J.D. from the University of Minnesota School of Law. Triplett has been Commissioner of Grand Forks County since 1993. She is a practicing attorney.

Triplett ran in the 2012 election for North Dakota Senate District 18. Triplett ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on June 12. She defeated David Waterman in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1]
