Triplett ran in the 2012 election for North Dakota Senate District 18. Triplett ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on June 12. She defeated David Waterman in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1]
2008
On November 4, 2008, Triplett was re-elected to the 18th District Seat in the North Dakota State Senate, besting Andrew Lutz (R). [2] Triplett raised $7,925 for his campaign, while Lutz raised $11,826.[3]
