Agnes Theresa McCabe
Agnes Theresa McCabe was a candidate for a seat on the Sixth Circuit Court of Florida in 2012.[1]
2012 election
McCabe ran for election on Aug. 14, 2012, but was defeated by incumbent Judge Jack Day after receiving 40.7 percent of the vote.[2][3]

Education
McCabe received her B.A. degree (History) from Emory University in 1978 and her J.D. degree from the University of Denver in 1984.[4]
Career
McCabe began her career in 1986 as an Assistant District Attorney in Coweta County, Georgia. She served in this capacity until May of 1991 and then again from February 1993 to April 1994. She was a senior attorney for the Florida Department of Children & Families from December 1994 to February of 1997. Then, she worked as an Assistant Public Defender in the 13th Judicial Circuit for a short time before returning to the Dept. of Children & Families in June of 1997. In May of 2000, she left that position. Since then she has served as an assistant state attorney of the 6th Judicial Circuit.[4]
