Jack Day was a judge of the Sixth Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. He was elected to this position in 2006 and was re-elected in 2012. His term expired in January 2019.[1][2][3]

2012 election

Day ran for re-election on Aug. 14, 2012. He defeated challenger Agnes Theresa McCabe with 59.3 percent of the vote.[3][4]

Education

Day received his B.S. degree (English) from the University of Florida in 1971 and his J.D. degree from the same university in 1977.[5]

Career

Day worked as a senior litigator for CIGNA Companies for four years and then as a partner of the law firm of Skipper & Day for four years. Prior to joining the court, he spent six years as a Principal of John W. Day, P.A. and Of Counsel to Rahdert, Steele, Bryan, Bole & Reynolds, P.A. He was elected to the circuit court in 2006.[5]
