The Alabama Hamilton Special School Amendment, also known as Amendment 3, was on the ballot in Alabama on December 18, 1973, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This measure proposed that an additional tax may be levied in Marion County for the Hamilton Special School.[1]
