Career

Smedley is an attorney who focuses on criminal defense work. She also serves as a felony public defender for Mason County.[2]

2012 election

Smedley advanced from the primary election on August 7, receiving 17.54 percent of the vote. She competed against Raymond J. Kostrzewa in the general election on November 6, winning 50.2 percent of the vote.[3][4][5]
