Anthony L. Burrell
Anthony L. Burrell was a judge on the Cook County 7th Subcircuit in Illinois.[1] He was elected to the court in 2002. His current term was to expire on December 1, 2014, however, Burrell passed away on May 14, 2014, at the age of 52, from kidney cancer.[2]
Education
Burrell received his undergraduate degree from Loyola University and his J.D. from the Cornell University Law School.[2]
Career
Prior to his judicial election in 2002, Burrell worked as a consultant for the Chicago Public Schools, as a solo practitioner, and as an assistant state's attorney for Cook County.[3]
