The Arkansas Municipal Retirement, Proposed Amendment 44, also known as Amendment 44, was on the ballot in Arkansas on November 6, 1956, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. The measure would have changed laws regarding municipal retirement.[1]
