Barbara Roberts is the judge on the Galveston County Court at Law No. 2. She was elected in 2010. She was re-elected without opposition in 2014 for a term that expires on December 31, 2018.[1][2]

Roberts ran for re-election to the Galveston County Court at Law.
Primary: She was successful in the Republican primary on March 4, 2014, receiving 56.1 percent of the vote. She competed against Jonathan Kieschnick.
General: She won without opposition in the general election on November 4, 2014. [2][3][4]

Roberts defeated Democrat Suzanna Schwab Radcliffe in the general election, winning 61.7 percent of the vote.[5]

Education

Roberts received her law degree from South Texas College of Law.[6]

Career

Prior to joining the court, Roberts was an attorney in private practice. She also served as a mediator. Roberts previously served as city attorney and an assistant city attorney for the city of Galveston.[7]
