Teer ran for election to the Hopkins County Justice Court.
Primary: He was successful in the Republican primary on March 4, 2014, receiving 25.5 percent of the vote. He competed against Amy Dodd Peacock, Tanner Crump, Barbara Moss and Danny R. Campbell.Because no candidate received more than 50 percent of the vote, Teer faced Crump in a runoff election on May 27, 2014.[1][2][3]
