Primary: He was successful in the primary on June 24, 2014, receiving 25.9 percent of the vote. He competed against Thomas K. Baldwin, Tim Burson, and Bob Pinkerton.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 40.6 percent of the vote. He competed against Thomas K. Baldwin. [1][2]

Morton received his bachelor's degree and J.D. from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.[3]

Career

Morton is an attorney in private practice.[4]
