Brian F. DeJoseph was a justice of the Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Fourth Department in New York. He was appointed to this position on April 15, 2014, by Governor Andrew Cuomo (D).[1][2] DeJoseph retired in 2019 when he reached the mandatory retirement age of 70.[3]

DeJoseph ran for re-election to the Supreme Court, 5th District. He defeated Robert Patrick O'Leary in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 50.9 percent of the vote.[4] 

Education

DeJoseph received his undergraduate and J.D. degrees from Syracuse University in 1972 and 1975, respectively.[1]
