Carla E. Craig
Carla E. Craig was the chief judge for the United States bankruptcy court, Eastern District of New York. She joined the court on February 28, 2000, and was elevated to chief judge on March 1, 2007.[1][2] Craig retired on October 1, 2020.[3]
Education
Craig received an undergraduate degree from Williams College and a J.D. from the University of Michigan.[4]
Career
Craig was a partner in the firm of Hertzog, Calamari & Gleason. Later in her career, she became a partner of Brown Raysman Millstein Felder & Steiner LLP, where she headed their bankruptcy practice.[1]
