The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 14, 2014. Incumbent Paul Anderson ran unopposed in the Republican primary, while Christine Kramar was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Anderson defeated Kramar in the general election.[2][3][4][5]
