Campaign website

Gleiser's campaign website highlighted the following issues for his campaign in 2015:

We are at a pivotal moment, and our school board is in a position to determine the direction we take. In order to move forward we must elect people that are committed, engaged, and have a positive vision for our schools and our community. My platform is simple, and is as follows:

Focus on Student Achievement and Teacher Empowerment
Every child in our district deserves access to the best education possible. In order for this to happen, student achievement must be the focus of every discussion and decision made. We have some of the best teachers in the state. In order to retain and recruit top-tier talent, we must trust and empower them to create an environment that allows them to have meaningful input to ensure our overall success.

Scrutinize Spending and Prioritize Long-Term Planning
Our school district plays a critical role in our local economy and quality of life. With the current state of state-funding, coupled with the fact that we have less money coming from property tax dollars per student, than any other district in the state, budgetary decisions and long-term planning should direct resources to needs, not wants.

Strive for Effective Communication, Consensus Building, and Meaningful Collaboration
We must move our district forward with the support of our community. It's critical to do this in a manner that is transparent and respectfully engages all stakeholders. Children learn better when adults communicate well. The need for good communication in our school district is great because the needs of our children are great.[8]
