David T. Tunnell is an associate judge of the 30th Judicial Circuit Court in Missouri. He was elected on November 4, 2014, for a term that expires on December 31, 2018.[1]

Education

Tunnell received his undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1997. He went on to earn his J.D. from the same university's law school in 2001.[2]

Tunnell ran for election to the 30th Judicial Circuit Court.
Primary: He was successful in the Republican primary on August 5, 2014, receiving 48.4 percent of the vote. He competed against Teresa Rieger Householder and Cynthia R. Black.
General: He defeated James M. Owen in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 63.3 percent of the vote. [1][3] 

2012

Tunnell ran unsuccessfully for the 30th Judicial Circuit Court. He lost to Michael Hendrickson in the Republican primary on August 7th.[4][5]
