David W. Lo
David W. Lo was a judge of the O`ahu First Circuit District Court of Hawaii. He was sworn in on August 23, 2000, and retired on December 30, 2016.[1][2]
Education
Lo earned a B.A from the University of Hawaii and a J.D. from the University of the Pacific.[3]
Career
From 1997 until his appointment in 2000, Lo worked as a per diem judge for the First Circuit. He also had his own law firm, Doo and Lo, established in 1986. His professional experience also included being a staff attorney for Pacific Insurance Company Limited, an instructor of business law at Hawaii Pacific College, a deputy attorney general for the Hawaii Department of the Attorney General, and a deputy prosecuting attorney for the City and County of Honolulu's Office of the Prosecuting Attorney.[3][4]
Lo also served the Court Annexed Arbitration Program, the Medical Claims Conciliation Program, and the Mayor's Advisory Committee on Law Enforcement Planning.[3]
