Diane Clarke Streett
Diane Clarke Streett is a judge on the New Castle County Superior Court in Delaware. She was appointed in 2010 by Governor Jack Markell. [1]
Education
Streett earned a B.S. in labor economics from Cornell University, and a J.D. from Cornell University Law School.[1]
Career
Streett was the New Castle County Register of Wills from 2001 until her 2010 judicial appointment. She was also an adjunct instructor at Wilmington University. In 2000, she was the city solicitor in the city of Wilmington. In Brooklyn, New York, she served as a state prosecutor, and was a member of New York’s first sex crimes unit. She has also worked as an Assistant United States Attorney in Washington, D.C., assistant counsel in the United States Congress, and adviser to both the Senate Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on Crime and the House Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on Criminal Justice.[1][2]
