The November 4, 2014, general election in Fort Mill Schools featured four seats up for election. Incumbents Wayne Bouldin, Diane Dasher and Patrick White faced challengers Terrin Boddie, Brian Boyd, Michele Branning and John Petzel for the available at-large seats. Incumbent Wyndie Havnaer did not file for re-election.
All three incumbents were returned to their seats, while Michele Branning won her first term in office.

Funding
Candidates were required to file a quarterly finance report with the South Carolina State Ethics Commission for the November general election by October 10, 2014. This report covered the period of July 1, 2014, through September 30, 2014. Candidates were also required to file a pre-election report no later than 15 days prior to the election. A final report is due after the campaign has closed. Candidates for local school boards may not accept more than $1,000 from individuals and $5,000 from political parties.[1]
