Douglas C. Mintz

Douglas C. Mintz is a judge on the Stamford/Norwalk District Superior Court in Connecticut. [1] He was appointed to the bench in 1993 by Governor Lowell P. Weicker Jr.[2] Mintz was reappointed in 2009 and 2017.[3][4]
Education
Mintz earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan. He received a J.D. from Western New England College of the Law, 1978.[5]
Career
Prior to being appointed to the bench, Mintz (D) served three terms in the Connecticut House of Representatives, the lower house of the Connecticut General Assembly. He also worked as an attorney in private practice.[6]
