Edward B. Vines
Edward B. Vines was a judge on the Jefferson County District Court in Alabama. He was appointed to this position in October 2008 to replace the retired Ralph Coleman, Jr. He decided not to seek re-election in 2016.[1][2]

2010 election
Vines was elected to a full term in 2010. He was unopposed in the Republican primary and defeated Lynneice Washington in the general election, winning 52.66 percent of the vote.[3]

Vines received his undergraduate degree from Samford University in 2000 and his J.D. from Birmingham School of Law in 2004.[4]
