Edward F. Janecka is the judge for the Fayette County Court in Texas. He was elected in 1990 and began serving in 1991.[1][2] He was re-elected on November 4, 2014, for a term that begins on January 1, 2015, and expired on December 31, 2018.[3][4]

Janecka ran for re-election to the Fayette County Court.
Primary: He was successful in the Republican primary on March 4, 2014, receiving 60.0 percent of the vote. He competed against Lee Allen Fritsch.
General: He defeated Cecil R. Webster in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 77.9 percent of the vote. [4][5][6]

Janecka was re-elected to the Fayette County Court after running unopposed.[7]
