Elizabeth A. Hruby-Mills is a judge on the Third District Court in Utah. She was appointed by Governor Gary Herbert in August 2011 to succeed Joseph C. Fratto, Jr. She was confirmed by the Utah Senate on October 19, 2011.[1][2] She was retained in 2014 for a term that expires on January 3, 2021.[3]

Hruby-Mills was retained to the Third District with 75.1 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [3]

The Utah Judicial Performance Evaluation Commission, following a 2014 survey, recommended that Judge Hruby-Mills be Retained. The full report is available here.

Education

Hruby-Mills received her undergraduate degree from Middlebury College, a master's degree from the University of Vermont, and a J.D. from S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah.[1]

Career

Prior to joining the court, Hruby-Mills was a partner at the firm Richard Brandt Miller Nelson from 1993 to 2011.[1]
