Hite ran in the 2010 election for Kansas State House District 31. Hite was unopposed in the Republican primary election on August 3, 2010, and was defeated by Stan Frownfelter in the general election on November 2, 2010.[2]
2009
Hite was a 2009 candidate for Wyandotte County/KCK unified government commissioner, at-large district 2. Hite lost in the primary, receiving 327 votes (11.29%).[3]
