Gary Bergosh is a judge of the First Circuit Court, Division D, in Escambia County, Florida. He was elected to this position on September 5, 2006. He was re-elected in 2012 and his current term expires in January of 2019.[1][2][3][4]

In November 2015, Bergosh applied for one of the upcoming Florida First District Court of Appeal vacancies created by the resignations of Simone Marstiller and Robert T. Benton II.[5]

Education

Bergosh received his B.A. degree from the University of West Florida and his J.D. degree from the Memphis State University Law School. He was admitted to the bar in 1992[6][7]

Career

Bergosh is a former federal attorney and Escambia County School Board member. He was elected to the circuit court in 2006.[7]

2012 election

Bergosh was unopposed and automatically re-elected following the primary election on August 14, 2012.[8][9]
