Ballot question
The ballot question was as follows:[1]
| “ | To repair and upgrade aging elementary and middle school facilities, make health, safety and security improvements, modernize outdated school facilities, and replace temporary portables with permanent classrooms, shall the Hanford Elementary School District measure be adopted to issue $23,000,000 in bonds at legal rates with projected levies of $24 per $100,000 assessed value, raising an average $1,360,000 annually while bonds are outstanding, requiring independent audits, citizens’ oversight and no money for administrators, and all funds staying local?[2] | ” |
