Desert Sands Unified School District, California, Measure A, Bond Measure (March 2024):  ✔

A "yes" vote supported authorizing the district to issue $675 million in bonds and to levy a property tax at the rate of $60 per $100,000 assessed value to upgrade school facilities and technology.

A "no" vote opposed authorizing the district to issue $675 million in bonds and to levy a property tax at the rate of $60 per $100,000 assessed value to upgrade school facilities and technology.

Perris, California, Measure A, Distribution and Industrial Facilities Business License Tax for Road Funding Measure (November 2023):  ✖

A "yes" vote supported this ballot measure to: 

  • enact, for 30 years, an annual business license tax of no more than $0.107 per square foot on distribution facilities, large truck storage businesses, and certain other manufacturing businesses and
  • dedicate revenue from the tax to public roads, sidewalks, storm drains, traffic signals, and other improvements.

A "no" vote opposed this ballot measure to:

  • enact, for 30 years, an annual business license tax of no more than $0.107 per square foot on distribution facilities, large truck storage businesses, and certain other manufacturing businesses and

Cathedral City, California, Measure K, Bond and Parcel Tax Measure (November 2022):  ✖

A "yes" vote supported enacting a 15 cents per building square foot on single-family residential units and authorizing bonds and an appropriation limit of $39 million.

A "no" vote opposed enacting a 15 cents per building square foot on single-family residential units and authorizing bonds and an appropriation limit of $39 million.

Desert Recreation District, California, Measure L, Building Parcel Tax Measure (November 2022):  ✖

A "yes" vote supported authorizing the district to levy an annual tax of 7 cents per square on a single-family residential unit and other rates on other types of land uses.

A "no" vote opposed authorizing the district to levy an annual tax of 7 cents per square on a single-family residential unit and other rates on other types of land uses.

San Gorgonio Memorial Health Care District, California, Measure H, Parcel Tax (December 2021):  ✔

A “yes” vote supported renewing for 10 years an existing annual parcel tax of $60.52 per parcel per year, thereby generating an estimated $2.6 million per year for emergency healthcare expenditures.

A “no” vote opposed renewing for 10 years an existing annual parcel tax of $60.52 per parcel per year, thereby allowing the existing parcel tax to expire on July 1st, 2022.   


November 2

Indio, California, Measure E, Sales Tax (November 2021):  ✔

A "yes" vote supported renewing the city's 1% sales tax until ended by voters to fund general city services, thereby generating an estimated $12 million per year and keeping the total sales tax rate in the city at 8.75%.

A "no" vote opposed renewing the city's 1% sales tax until ended by voters to fund general city services, thereby allowing the tax to expire in May 2037 and reducing the total sales tax rate in the city to 7.75%.

Moreno Valley, California, Measure G, Sales Tax (November 2021):  ✔

A "yes" vote supported authorizing an additional 1% sales tax in the city until ended by voters to generate an estimated $20 million per year for general city services, thereby increasing the total sales tax rate in the city to 8.75%.

A "no" vote opposed authorizing an additional 1% sales tax in the city until ended by voters, thereby leaving the total sales tax rate in the city at 7.75%.

Riverside, California, Measure C, Electric Utility Transfer Charter Amendment (November 2021):  ✔

A "yes" vote supported authorizing the city to continue to transfer approximately $40 million per year from the electric utility revenue fund to the city's general fund in accordance with a lawsuit settlement that also includes utility customer bill credits for five years.

A "no" vote opposed authorizing the city to continue to transfer approximately $40 million per year from the electric utility revenue fund to the city's general fund in accordance with a lawsuit settlement.


March 2

Cathedral City, California, Measure B, Additional Short-Term Vacation Rental Regulations and Limitations (March 2021):  ✔

A “yes” vote supports maintaining Ordinance 842 phasing out short-term vacation rentals that are not home shares by January 1, 2023, except where approved by local homeowners associations and enacting additional regulations on other short-term rentals through January 1, 2023, including:

  • establishing minimum stay lengths of four days and three nights;
  • reducing the maximum occupancy to 10; and 
  • prohibiting the use of outdoor amenities from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.

A “no” vote opposes adopting Sections 1 and 3 of Ordinance 842, which were designed to repeal existing regulations, phase out short-term rentals except for home shares or rentals allowed by homeowners associations, and establish additional restrictions on short-term rentals.

Eastvale, California, Measure A, Appropriations Limit Adjustment (March 2021):  ✔

A “yes” vote supports increasing Eastvale's appropriations limit for four years to $33,000,000 annually from the existing $25,638,639 annual appropriations limit in order to allow increased budgeting of city revenues for general governmental purposes.

A “no” vote opposes increasing Eastvale's appropriations limit for four years to $33,000,000 annually, thereby maintaining the existing $25,638,639 annual appropriations limit.

Corona, California, Measure X, Sales Tax (November 2020):  ✔

A “yes” vote supported authorizing an additional sales tax of 1% generating an estimated $30 million per year for the city's general fund, thereby increasing the total sales tax rate in Corona from 7.75% to 8.75%.

A “no” vote opposed authorizing an additional sales tax of 1% generating an estimated $30 million per year for the city's general fund, thereby leaving the total sales tax rate in Corona at 7.75%.

Corona, California, Measure Y, City Council Term Limits (November 2020):  ✔

A "yes" vote supported establishing a lifetime limi of three terms for city council members.

A "no" vote opposed this measur establishing a lifetime limi of three terms for city council members, thereby leaving no term limits for city council members.

Jurupa Valley, California, Measure U, Marijuana Business Regulation Changes and Tax Increase (November 2020):  ✖

A "yes" vote supported replacing existing regulations on marijuana businesses and increasing taxes on marjuana businesses in the following ways:

  • require conditional use permits and annual regulatory permits for all marijuana businesses;
  • permit onemarijuana retail business per 12,000 in population, which would amount to nine instead of the existing seven;
  • use a lottery system to select licenses;
  • require businesses to be at least 1,000 feet from schools, day care and youth centers, churches, or parks;
  • require minimum parking spaces and additional opertional requirements for marijuana businesses concerning signage, order, hours of operation, marijuana consumption, and security; and
  • impose gross receipts taxes at 6% for retailers, 2% for distributors, 2.5% fr manufacturing, and 1% for testing laboratories and a tax on indoor cultivation businesses at a rate of $10 per square foot.

A "no" vote opposed this measure changing regulations and increasing taxes on marijuana businesses, thereby leaving the existing taxes and regulations in place

Lake Elsinore, California, Measure Z, Sales Tax (November 2020):  ✔

A "yes" vote supported adopting a city council ordinance to rezone 176.6 acres in northeastern Oceanside from Agricultural to Planned Development to allow for the North River Farms development project.

A "no" vote opposed adopting a city council ordinance to rezone 176.6 acres in northeastern Oceanside to Planned Development to allow for the North River Farms development project, thereby blocking the North River Farms development project and leaving the land zoned for Agricultural, which allows crop-producing activities and limited residential development with minimum lot sizes of 2.5 acres so long as the residential use doesn't interfere with agricultural purposes.

Menifee, California, Measure M, Sales Tax Repeal Initiative (November 2020):  ✖

A "yes" vote supported this initiative to repeal a 1% sales tax that provided revenue for the city's general fund, thereby reducing the total sales tax rate in Menifee from 8.75% to 7.75%.

A "no" vote opposed this initiative to repeal a 1% sales tax that provided revenue for the city's general fund, thereby leaving the total sales tax rate in Menifee at 8.75%.

Riverside, California, Measure Q, Procedures for Filling Elected Office Vacancies Charter Amendment (November 2020):  ✔

A "yes" vote supported amending the city charter to do the following:

  • require the city council to make an appointment to fill a vacancy for an elected office with up to one year left in the term;
  • require a special election to fill a vacancy for an elected office with more than one year left in the term;
  • establish a process for a runoff election if no candidate receives a majority of votes in the special election to fill a vacancy; and
  • prohibit appointed officials from making references indicating they are incumbents for future elections to the same seat.


A "no" vote opposed this measure amending the city charter to do the following:
