Ballot title
The ballot title for Measure U was as follows:
| “ | Shall Ordinance 2020-XX be adopted to: (1) impose permits and regulations on operations of cannabis businesses to reduce public nuisances and separate from sensitive uses; (2) increase the number of cannabis retailers from seven to nine (1/12,000 population); and (3) increase City cannabis tax (not to exceed gross receipts of 6% retailers, 2% distributors, 2.5% manufacturing, 1% testing, and $10/square foot cultivation) for estimated $1,681,383 annually for general municipal services until ended by voters? | ” |
