As we approach the November 4, 2025 election, I am humbly asking for your support and your vote for School Board.

I have dedicated my life to education, leadership, and service. I hold a Doctorate in Biblical Studies as well as Master’s degrees in Criminal Psychology and Educational Leadership. Over the past 12 years in education, I have served as a classroom teacher at Alvis Elementary and Clayton High School, and as a Principal at the Junior High level. These experiences have given me first-hand knowledge of the challenges and opportunities our schools face every day.

Beyond the classroom, I have invested deeply in our students’ growth and development. As a volunteer coach, I had the honor of helping lead our Girls Basketball Team to a State Championship alongside Coach Sanchez. Together, we worked to build a positive and disciplined environment where young women could grow in confidence, teamwork, and leadership—skills that will serve them far beyond the basketball court.

My career in the United States Military, where I served for 30 years and retired as a Deputy Division Chaplain, entrusted me with the responsibility of caring for over 10,000 Soldiers and their families.

This is not about punishment—it is about teaching life lessons that prepare students to become responsible citizens. Stronger support for principals and staff in maintaining order is essential to improving outcomes.

Education is not confined to the classroom. Athletics, arts, and extracurricular activities give students the opportunity to build leadership, teamwork, and perseverance. Supporting these programs alongside academics ensures that education develops the “whole student”—mind, body, and character.
