Education
Judge Brown earned her B.S. from the University of Wyoming in 1979 and her J.D. from Vanderbilt University in 1982.[2][3]
Career
Brown was appointed to the 18th District Court by Governor Judy Martz on March 17, 2004. Before her appointment to the 18th District Brown was in private practice in Bozeman, Montana.[3]

Brown was retained with 83.25 percent of the vote on November 6, 2012.[4][5]
